Are your pieces really handmade?

They are! Every piece is made by hand in my studio, one at a time. That means no two mugs, bowls, or plates will ever be exactly the same—and that's part of what makes handmade pottery so special.

You'll notice little differences in shape, glaze, or texture from piece to piece. Those aren't flaws—they're part of the character of handmade ceramics.

Is everything food safe?

Yes! All of my functional pottery is made with food-safe glazes.

Can I put my pieces in the dishwasher?

Nearly all of our pieces are dishwasher safe, with only a couple exceptions including pieces with 22 karat gold decoration which can wear with time. Handmade pottery is quite durable, and we personally recommend tossing it in the dishwasher with all of our other dishes.

Is it microwave safe?

Yes, unless otherwise noted on the product page.

Just keep in mind that pottery can get warm in the microwave, especially after longer heating times.

Why doesn't my mug look exactly like the photo?

Because every piece is made by hand, there will always be slight variations in size, glaze patterns, and color.

I do my best to photograph everything accurately, but each firing is unique, and that's one of the things I love most about ceramics.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Ready-to-ship items are usually packed and shipped within a few business days.

If you've ordered a made-to-order piece, we will have discussed the timeline when you order since those take a little longer to create.

Do you accept custom orders?

Sometimes!

If you have an idea for something special, send us a message and we'll let you know if it's something we can make. I love hearing new ideas, but I can't always take on custom work depending on my schedule.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, due to tariffs in the US and high shipping costs, we are currently only shipping Canada-wide. We continue to monitor shipping to other countries and will add this option as soon as it makes sense!

What if something arrives broken?

Hopefully it never happens, but if your order is damaged during shipping, send me a photo of the packaging and the broken piece within two days of delivery.

I'll work with you to make it right.

Can I return my order?

If there's a problem with your order, please reach out as soon as possible.

Because each piece is handmade, I generally can't accept returns for things like slight variations in color, size, or shape, but if your order arrives damaged or there's been a mistake, I'll absolutely help sort it out.

Do you make matching sets?

Sometimes, but not always.

Since everything is handmade, pieces are often made in small batches. I do my best to create sets that work beautifully together, but they may not be perfectly identical—and I think that adds to their charm.
